Origamic Architecture (3D pop up cards)

In these workshops you have the opportunity to complete two cards using a craft knife, ruler and pattern to pop up buildings and geometric shapes that will certainly impress your friends!

Jill-Marie has a real passion for paper and card craft. She has been teaching people how to make 3D pop up cards since 1992 having learnt the skill whilst travelling around the USA.

This is a rewarding, easy and inexpensive hobby. Patterns vary from easy to very complex ones that will challenge you. If you wanted to pursue this skill further, you could have a go at designing your own patterns!

Workshop one: Saturday 12th April, 1.00pm - 4.00pm

• Eiffel Tower plus there will be another card you can make as well – your choice.
• You should be able to complete 2 cards in the one session.
• There will be a selection of additional patterns to take home and practice your new talent.
• All materials provided. Please note you will be using craft knives for this workshop.
• Suitable for ages 12-17 Years.

Workshop two: Sunday 13th April, 1.00pm - 4.00pm

• Geometric design
• You can choose from several designs – they are all quite easy, or you can choose to attempt a more complex design.
• Once again you can take home a handful of patterns to test your new ability.
• All materials provided. Please note you will be using craft knives for this workshop.
• Suitable for ages 12-17 Years.
