What is the Pandora Project?
The Pandora project stemmed from the Art Recovery classes which were held at CAN following Cyclone Gabrielle.
For 8 weeks, we’ll explore the transformative power of art, self-expression and personal growth, learn therapeutic techniques through various art forms and experience a supportive and nurturing environment.
Who is this workshop for?
The Pandora Project welcomes art enthusiasts, seekers of self-discovery, and those in search of stress relief. It's a haven for community-minded individuals, creative explorers keen on various mediums, and those seeking healing through art.

Thank you to Napier City Council Creative Communities Scheme for their support. With their grant we can offer each session at a reduced price of $30.

Relevant Feedback
I have been going to Helen’s Workshops ever since they started and love my creative time spent there. Helen has projects that we can do or we can do our own thing if we like. I have learnt a few new skills Art wise since taking part in the Workshops.
It is my day of the week when I can just sit and create a piece of Art in a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
I do hope I will be able to continue with Helen and the Pandora Project next term.

This was the first session that I participated in, so quite late in the term. I appreciated Helen’s patient and dedicated time to show me the creative projects that the class had completed and her help with getting started on one for myself
Helen was very inspirational, patient and full of great information and suggestions that helped a non creative get underway
once again this term I thoroughly enjoyed the workshops. A great opportunity to get help and
guidance if required or do your own thing. Great!
